Staff training: learning daily operations faster
A clear start for cashiers, waiters and the manager

Before AliPos
New staff learned from colleagues on the job. As a result cashiers handled modifiers, cancellations and closing orders differently, and the manager explained the same operations over and over.
What was done in AliPos
Training was split by role: the cashier learns orders and payment, the waiter learns order entry, the manager learns shift reports and control operations. Before the first solo shift everyone goes through a short checklist and practice on test orders.

|---|---|---|
| New hire working independently | 3 shifts | 2 shifts |
| Order-entry errors in the first week | 15 | 7 |
| Manager’s repeated explanations | 5 hours a week | 2 hours a week |
