Delivering Telegram Orders Through a Courier Service: Workflow and Cost Calculation
On September 14, 2026, Uzum Tezkor launched a service that lets restaurants hand orders from their own Telegram, website and phone lines to its couriers. We break the workflow into four steps (order → receipt → courier → reconciliation) and give a formula that shows what you keep per order without an aggregator commission.

A restaurant can take orders through its own Telegram bot, website or phone line and outsource delivery to an external courier service. The workflow has four steps: take the order, issue a fiscal receipt, call a courier and reconcile payments. Whether it pays off comes down to one number: the courier fee per order compared with the aggregator commission. Below you'll find the formula and a worked example.
What changed on September 14, 2026
Uzum Tezkor launched a delivery service for businesses. Restaurants can now hand couriers orders from their own channels: phone, Telegram, apps and social media. For now, the service runs in the 13 cities where Uzum Tezkor operates.
The press release explains how it works. Once an order is placed, the restaurant selects Uzum Tezkor delivery, the order details go into the system and a job is created for a courier. The customer gets a tracking link and can follow the order status. The courier delivers to the door and carries prepared food in an insulated bag.
The key difference from an aggregator: the customer orders from you, not from the platform's storefront. Your menu, prices and customer communication stay with you. In this model, the platform simply supplies the couriers.
What isn't publicly available yet: restaurant pricing, minimum order volumes, how to connect (dashboard, API or POS software) and rules for cash collection. A company representative described the pricing as "transparent" and said it doesn't depend on weather or traffic. You'll need to get the actual numbers from an Uzum Tezkor manager. That's why we calculate with a formula below rather than a made-up rate.
The workflow: order → receipt → courier → reconciliation
- Take the order. Orders come from a Telegram bot, the website or an operator answering the phone. Enter each order straight into your POS system, not a notebook or chat thread. That way it reaches the kitchen and shows up in your reports.
- Issue the receipt. Every payment needs a fiscal receipt: card, Payme or Click, or cash paid to the courier. More on the legal requirements in the next section.
- Call a courier. Once the kitchen confirms the ready time, the operator creates a job in the delivery service. The customer receives a tracking link.
- Reconcile payments. At the end of each shift, compare three lists: orders in the POS, jobs in the courier service dashboard and the money (card payments from the bank statement plus cash collected by couriers).
Skip step 2 or step 4, and delivery from your own channels turns into a gray zone, with a higher risk of lost cash and tax claims.
Receipts and payments: dos and don'ts
The main regulation is Regulation No. 3631 of June 18, 2025, on courier services in e-commerce. Couriers and delivery services may accept payment from customers for goods and delivery, including cash, if this is set out in their contract with the seller. When accepting payment, they must use cash register equipment or issue a receipt in electronic or paper form.
Do:
- issue a fiscal receipt for every Telegram, website and phone order, including prepayments via Payme and Click;
- if the customer pays the courier in cash, hand over the order with the receipt already issued (paper in the bag or electronic via messenger), or specify in your contract with the service who issues the receipt and how;
- have a written contract with the courier service covering who collects cash, how quickly it is transferred to you and who is responsible for the receipt for the delivery service itself;
- make sure couriers carry food in clean insulated containers. The regulation requires regular washing and disinfection.
Don't:
- accept card-to-card transfers without a receipt. The State Tax Committee has stated clearly that paying for goods and services by P2P transfer without a receipt violates tax law. This is a common risk with Telegram orders;
- enter orders retroactively at the end of the day based on chat messages;
- rely on a verbal agreement about who issues the receipt for the delivery fee when the customer pays it. Public sources don't answer this, so confirm the setup with your accountant or the tax office before launch.

Setting up order intake by channel
According to Uzum Tezkor's own research, more than a third of Tashkent residents have ordered food directly from a restaurant via Telegram. These are company figures, not an independent survey, but they're good enough for channel planning.
| Channel | What to set up | Startup costs | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Telegram bot | Menu with prices, delivery fee shown before checkout, Payme/Click payment, order handoff to an operator or the POS | From 2.5–3 million UZS with Tashkent studios (contractor quotes) | Orders stay in the chat and never reach the POS |
| Phone | One number; the operator enters orders directly into the POS | Operator salary, workstation | Errors in address and order contents |
| Website or app | Online payment, delivery zones and fees, order status | Depends on development | Without a POS link, the menu has to be duplicated manually |
| Social media | A link to the bot or website instead of taking orders in DMs | Minimal | Payment by card transfer without a receipt |
One rule for every channel: show the customer the delivery fee before they place the order. If it's announced afterward, expect cancellations and disputes with the courier.
Here's how it works in AliPos. The delivery module and call center are included in the Pro plan ($59/month). The operator takes phone orders in the call center, while the delivery module and aggregator integrations run in the same system, and receipts are fiscalized in line with Uzbekistan's requirements. Among courier services, AliPos integrates with Noor ($50/month, available from the Pro plan). Uzum Tezkor is available as an aggregator integration: a one-time $100 setup fee plus $10/month. Whether orders can be passed to the new business service through the POS is something to confirm with an Uzum Tezkor manager, as the press release doesn't say. Learn more on the AliPos for delivery and integrations pages.
The math: what you keep without an aggregator commission
Aggregator commission rates for Uzbekistan aren't published. So here's the formula, and you can plug in your own numbers.
Own channel + courier service:
Margin = Order total − Food cost − Courier fee (if the customer doesn't pay it) − Acquiring fee − Bot and operator cost per order − Tax
Aggregator:
Margin = Order total × (1 − Commission) − Food cost − Tax
This example uses hypothetical numbers. These are not Uzum Tezkor rates or market rates. Order total 150,000 UZS, food cost 30% (45,000 UZS). The courier costs a hypothetical 20,000 UZS, acquiring is 1.5% (2,250 UZS). A bot costing 3 million UZS pays for itself over 12 months at 600 orders a month (≈ 420 UZS per order), and an operator earning 4 million UZS handles the same 600 orders (≈ 6,670 UZS per order). Tax is excluded because the rate depends on your tax regime.
| Scenario | Margin per order before tax |
|---|---|
| Aggregator, 20% commission | 75,000 UZS |
| Aggregator, 25% commission | 67,500 UZS |
| Aggregator, 30% commission | 60,000 UZS |
| Own channel, restaurant pays the courier | ≈ 75,700 UZS |
| Own channel, customer pays for delivery | ≈ 95,700 UZS |
The takeaway: your own channel wins by a wide margin when the customer pays for delivery or the aggregator commission is high. If the restaurant covers the courier and the commission is low, the difference almost disappears. So don't promise free delivery until you've worked out your break-even point.
Break-even courier fee: Courier fee < Order total × Commission − Acquiring fee − Bot and operator cost per order. In our example, at a 30% commission the threshold is about 35,700 UZS. As long as the courier costs less, an order from your own channel is more profitable. The threshold rises with the average order value, so the model works less well for small orders, like a single samsa with tea, than for a group order.
Reconciling with couriers: end-of-shift checklist
- The number of orders in the POS matches the number of jobs in the courier service dashboard.
- Every delivered order has a fiscal receipt. Canceled orders are closed with a reason and the employee's name.
- Cashless payments (Payme, Click, Uzum, card) match the bank statement.
- Cash collected by couriers is tracked separately: how much was collected, how much was transferred and the contractual deadline.
- The courier service invoice for the shift or month matches the number of completed jobs.
- Customer complaints (late delivery, cold food) are logged with the order number and reviewed with the service.
Couriers need change for large bills, and without separate tracking of the cash they collect, discrepancies are hard to trace. In AliPos, reports and alerts go to the owner via a Telegram bot, and revenue and stock levels are available in AliPos Boss, so you can reconcile every day.
FAQ
Can I pass orders from my own Telegram bot to Uzum Tezkor couriers?
Yes. The business service accepts orders from phone, Telegram, apps and social media. The connection method isn't described publicly, so check with an Uzum Tezkor manager.
How much does a courier cost, and is there a commission per order?
Restaurant pricing hasn't been published. Request it before launch and plug it into the formula above to see whether it beats your current channel.
Do I need a receipt if the customer paid in the bot via Payme or Click?
Yes. Every payment needs a fiscal receipt, and you can send it to the customer electronically.
Can I accept payment by card transfer?
Not without a receipt. The State Tax Committee has stated that such P2P payments violate tax law.
Who issues the receipt if the customer pays the courier in cash?
Under Regulation No. 3631, cash register equipment must be used or a receipt issued when payment is accepted. In practice, it's simplest to hand over the order with the restaurant's receipt already issued. Cover the receipt for the delivery itself and the split of responsibilities in your contract with the service, and agree on it with your accountant.
What are the requirements for couriers and insulated bags?
Couriers work under an employment or civil contract and may be self-employed. Vehicles and insulated containers must be clean and in good condition, and they must be washed and disinfected regularly.
If you're launching delivery from your own channels, start with the order → POS → receipt link, and build everything else around it. Compare plans with the delivery module on the pricing page, see how fiscalization works, or submit a request. We'll call you back within 15 minutes and help you set up order intake for your format.
